Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content on Zippost infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent containing all of the following (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (a URL or account/content identifier);
  4. Your contact information (address, phone, email);
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; your contact information; and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or the Eastern District of California, if outside the US) and to accepting service from the complainant. Unless the complainant files a court action, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days.

Repeat infringers

Zippost terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
